From Ireland to Austria Series: Ich Bin Dann Mal Weg
This is from a series originally posted on my original blog: Seefahrer Thayer. While I don't recommend it, you can view the original posts here. Because the content had value and useful tips I've decided to repost them here, however, they've since been heavily edited and updated.
So today was a hideously lazy day, so I hope everyone is coming to the table with low expectations.
I woke up late, ate breakfast and basically bummed around the house until about 2:30, checking emails, paying bills, making sure I have money in my bank accounts, getting my new converter to work. Good relaxing day, I suppose.
Eventually, I left to walk around the city for a bit, buying "20,000 Leauges Under the Sea" auf Deutsch, and getting some eis (ice cream) as well as a new phone! So now I can actually communicate with people. I met Theresa back at the flat when she got off work, but she was too tired to do anything. Seeing as I had been inside all day I was really anxious to get out and see Berlin some, but she decided to meet me to get felafel with her boyfriend Victor.
I meandered my way back to the flat, picked up some stuff at the store and made some phone calls. I tried to be ambitious and watch "50 Dead Men Walking" (in German) buuuuttttt... got lazy- and also annoyed with the sound system.
So yeah, like I said, that's it. And as for me, I'm taking a shower and going to sleep because it's 1:00 AM, and I'm tired. Enjoy your dinner America, I'm out.
